Being surrounded with books and coffee or books and wine, what else could be better? I especially loved the interactive art across the bar. It's amazing that I was part of it before leaving. the rotating clock hands were also captivating. The walls lined with books and art, even the bathroom walls were also covered with wine labels. I enjoyed a latte and found a few books to take home. Had a marvelous time here!
Cozy bookstore and coffee shop in the heart of soho! This is a great spot for working or reading- they are laptop friendly and have outlets scattered throughout the cafe. It does get very busy during the morning and early afternoon, however there's usually plenty of seating available. Would recommend their strawberry matcha and lattes (sizes for hot drinks are a bit on the smaller side) and pastries. I'll definitely have to come back later in the day to enjoy the wine bar!
This charming library café and wine bar is an absolute gem! The team deserves major credit for their exceptional social media marketing--when I visited shortly after they opened, the place was already buzzing with people. It's always heartwarming to see a business thrive right from the start. Despite the crowds, this spot is a must-visit. Even if you're not in the mood for coffee, stop by to explore the bookshelves and soak in the atmosphere, then enjoy a leisurely stroll nearby. Highly recommended!
My friend and I popped in here since we were in the area the other day and wanted a quiet-ish place to sit and catch up. We got there around 4pm and the back area of the space closes at 4pm and then reopens at 5pm for dinner service. The space itself is lovely with a long bar when you first walk in, with many communal tables towards the front. The back has a whole library with books for sale and a more intimate seating arrangement (of which reservations are needed). We opted to get chai lattes and found a couple of seats towards the front. We then proceeded to stay as more room opened up and we ordered a couple of small plates, including the mezze and nosh boards and my friend got a glass of the Tempranillo, which she really enjoyed. This place is perfect for a date or casual friend hang and shout out to Erin for being a great host/server! I'll definitely be back!
Love this place. Came for a movie screening of the grinch. It was decorated for the holidays and the whole place was very charming. Had an amazing wine selection and cute wine bar snacks. Staff was friendly and attentive and I will definitely be going back for more of their events or to just read with a glass of wine. Would be a perfect date night spot
Went in at 1:30pm on a Sunday. I ordered the chilled frappato ($17). It was bustling on a Sunday afternoon yet still quiet enough to work. WiFi access for 90 minutes. Laptops allowed from 10-5. Plenty of bar space, comfy couch area in the back. Order at the counter. Quick service once you actually get a chance to order. Stayed for 1.5 hours.
Great library/book store themed wine bar with terrific selection of wines, cheeses, & meats. You can also buy a new or used book to take with you. Service was prompt, attentive, and knowledgeable. Ask about the interactive art exhibit and be sure to see the clock change.
The coziest place in manhattan to catch up with a friend, get some work done, or just read a good book. Feels like you transport into a different place walking in! Especially love their excellent wine selection - I'd stay here from morning to night if I could!
Solid spot to get some work done or catch up with a friend! We came on a Friday morning to get through our morning work, and the cafe was pretty empty ~10 AM. Seats are super comfy in a really nice library-esque interior, with minimal music, so made for a good environment to focus. WiFi + an open water dispenser! The coffee was also good. Nothing crazy, but a pretty typical cortado. Definitely more on the milkier side that I typically want! Will definitely be back if in the area, if simply because of how nice the interior is!
